About Q/Solutions

Q/Solutions was created to help residential property owners fight back against the appraisal district and reduce residential property tax valuations. The owner, Gib Portwood, became adept at getting big value reductions on his own property, and when his neighbors took notice, they asked Gib to do the same thing to protest their property valuations. Without doing any marketing at all, Gib quickly had a “side-hustle” in representing other homeowners during their protests. The next year, and solely through word-of-mouth referrals, Gib had enough clients to leave his work in the investment industry, and be a Property Tax Consultant full time.  While he does have some commercial clients, Gib focuses his marketing efforts on the residential property segment. Every year since its inception, Q-Solutions has experienced dramatic growth in the number of property owners served.
